EVIT Students have Penny Wars for United Way
Assemblies were held for all EVIT students with pep rallies led by the four Team Leaders who oversee EVIT's forty programs.
EVIT was honored with the "Heart of Mesa" Award for Mesa United Way in Spring 2010. It is the commitment of the students, staff and administration to be creative and participate on every level for this great organization.

EVIT Law students teach Halloween safety

Head Start students were greeted by McGruff, the crime dog and were given coloring books, balloons and candy.

Half of EVIT students still have Perfect Attendance!
All EVIT students are in competition for a car that will be spruced up by EVIT's Automotive Technology and Collision Repair classes. But, this year EVIT seniors will have another chance to win a brand new Chevy Cruze as part of General Motors' Chevy Drive for Perfection contest.
Steve Marley, Service Manager of Thorobred Chevrolet, says that this is a chance for industry to promote a perfect attendance work ethic while students are still in training. The drawing will take place on May 23rd!

Odyssey Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day held at EVIT
The car show is the largest one-day event in the country and was visited by hundreds of people who are interested in the green technology as well as all EVIT classes.
Odyssey tries to educate the nation on AFVs and advanced technology vehicles while creating a sense of social and economic responsibility. The show featured the economic advantages of driving an AFV as well as the environmental benefits.
Representatives from dealerships across the valley were on hand to show the purchase options and the locations of local refueling stations, which are available now.
