Officials from Rural Metro visited the Fire Fighting students on Thursday, demonstrating different types of hoses and providing the students with some hands-on experience.
Students got to try out a deck hose, which is used in larger, defensive fires:
And they got to try out some smaller hoses that allow for more mobility:
